National Tribal Water Council

Tribal Water Center
The Tribal Water Center was established in 2011 and is located within the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC), a not-for-profit health organization managed and operated by its customer–owners. As a member of the Alaska Native Health Board, ANTHC works closely with the National Indian Health Board to address Alaska Native and American Indian health issues.

The Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC)
NWAC’s Water Carrier Project is rooted in empowering Indigenous Women and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people as protectors of the water and amplifying their voices in their role as Water Carriers. Hence, the following portal presents the voices of Indigenous women, girls, gender-diverse and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people on their experiences with issues of Clean Water, Climate Change, and its subsequent impact on their cultural well-being.
