Mira received her Bachelor's in the Interdisciplinary in the Natural Sciences (Geology-Chemistry) at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. IWLN crafts a network of support and encouragement for indigenous women working on water and natural resources in the Basin, highlighting the importance of matriarchal presence in tribal communities, decision-making and lifestyles.

I am energized by shared collaboration in protecting the lands and waters of the Colorado River Basin, particularly regarding Tribal sovereignty and uplifting Indigenous perspectives in the Basin. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, playing accordion, board games, being outdoors, attending theater shows and rock climbing.
