Greetings, LaCher (pronounced La Share) is from Santo Domingo Pueblo which is located in New Mexico (NM). She spent most of her summers in Cortez, Colorado or Nageezi, NM with her maternal grandparents & relatives who are Dinè (Navajo). She traveled a lot, and I learned the importance of Ke̒ or kinship. She enjoys the Pow Wow highway and American Indian Craft Fairs.

LaCher has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of New Mexico as well as a Master of Arts in Education and American Indian Education. She surprised her family with a third Masters of Arts degree from Fort Lewis College in Culturally Linguistic Diversity with a focus on creating a curriculum for second language learners.

She is a Ph.D Scholar for Teaching, Learning and Socio-Cultural Studies (TLS) with an emphasis on Children's & Young Adult Literature in a Diverse World.
