Applications are now open for the 2025–2026 Ilíiaitchik: Indigenous Correspondents Program (ICP)!  

Are you an Indigenous student passionate about storytelling, environmental justice, and community resilience? This year-long program supports YOU in sharing your voice, your knowledge, and your community’s stories - with mentorship from Indigenous editors, skill-building workshops, and a $1,000 stipend. 

🌍 As an ICP correspondent, you’ll: 

  • Publish a story on Planet Forward’s national platform 

  • Join monthly multimedia workshops led by Indigenous experts 

  • Attend the 2026 Planet Forward Summit in Washington, DC (all expenses paid!) 

  • Build community with other Indigenous changemakers 

📌 Who should apply? 

Indigenous students (including TCU, First Nations, and Pacific Islander students) who are excited about using storytelling - written, video, audio, or multimedia - to amplify Indigenous perspectives on the environment, science, and sustainability.
