UA Food-Energy-Water Research Teams With AZ Navajo College

Titled Indigenous Food, Energy, and Water Security and Sovereignty (Indige-FEWSS), the goal of this project is to educate and engage students, with an emphasis on recruitment of first-generation and minority students seeking opportunities, to make a difference in developing communities. The project includes innovative approaches to integrate FEWS disciplines with indigenous knowledge and to work collaboratively with indigenous communities using a coupled natural human systems approach to design culturally acceptable FEWS technology
