Javier Aguiniga

Javier Aguiniga joined Indige-FEWSS in April as an administrative assistant and has currently been transferred to another department called the Indigenous Resilience Center. He is from ambos Nogales which include Nogales, Sonora and Nogales, Arizona. He graduated from Nogales High School in 2019 and is currently majoring in Public Health with an emphasis in Quantitative Methods and has a minor in Spanish. He is a member of First Cats - a resource center for first generation college students. He is currently interning with the Southwest Environmental Health Sciences Center (SWEHSC) and is getting first hand experience with community engagement and research.
