Panel Highlights:  Traditional Ecological Knowledge supports USDA’s priorities of creating new and better markets; strengthening climate-smart agriculture; and advancing racial justice, equity, opportunity, and rural prosperity. This panel will focus on how USDA, university researchers, and tribal governments are working together to address the challenge of climate smart agriculture in the context of indigenous knowledge.

 

About the Agriculture Outlook Forum: The Forum is the USDA’s longest-running and largest annual event. We expect over 6,000 in-person and virtual attendees from the U.S. and around the world, including the U.S. Secretary and Under Secretaries of Agriculture, representatives and officials from farm organizations, agribusinesses, financial firms, universities, international organizations, government, and the media.

 

The Forum will feature 30 other sessions that will explore topics such as global trade trends, innovations in agriculture, developments in animal and crop biotechnology, frontiers in conservation, and outlooks for food and commodity markets.
